As a special fluorine-containing monomer, it has a wide range of uses in the development of new fluoroplastics and fluororubbers with excellent comprehensive properties.
It is copolymerized with tetrafluoroethylene to form a perfluoroether elastomer with high temperature resistance and strong chemical corrosion resistance;
It is copolymerized with tetrafluoroethylene and vinylidene fluoride to synthesize vinylidene fluoride rubber with excellent low temperature performance and cross-linking with peroxide;
A small amount of perfluoromethyl vinyl ether is copolymerized with tetrafluoroethylene to prepare a melt-processable fluororesin;
Perfluoromethyl vinyl ether is also an important raw material for the synthesis of new pesticide bisflumuron.
